Rules, Regulations and Discipline
For the benefit of the CAB students, general regulations are laid down in the following sections. All students are required to read these regulations carefully. Failure to be familiar with these sections does not excuse a student from the obligations to comply with prescribed regulations.

Care has been taken to ensure accuracy in this prospectus. However, the information contained here is subject to change, and any change will be duly notified to the students well in time. While it is imperative to adhere to the norms laid out, reasonable exception from academic regulations may be granted where necessary.

Attendance
A minimum of eighty percent of attendance in each subject is compulsory to be eligible to sit the Final Examinations

Non-Credit Course
To appear in the University and /or Higher Secondary Examinations, students must secure pass marks in the Sent-up Examinations in all subjects including non-credit courses offered at the College.

Assignments
All assignments must be submitted within the given time. Evaluation will be based on these works and will be counted for Sent-up Examinations and for the use of other CAB facilities such as scholarships.

Fees
CAB draws bills every two months in advance. The bills must be paid by the end of 1st month. A late fee of Rs. 100 for the next month and Rs. 500 thereafter till the next bill period is charged.

Discipline
Students engaged in acts incompatible with the educational mission of CAB are subject to disciplinary action that may include expulsion or suspension from college for one or more of the following causes:

Cheating or plagiarism in an academic programme.

  • Forgery, intention to misuse or misuse of college documents/records or knowingly furnishing false information and infraction of other college norms.
  • Obstruction or disruption of educational or other functions of the college.
  • Physical abuse of the person or property of any member of the college or member of his or her family or the threat of such physical abuse.
  • Theft of and non-accidental damage to the college property, or property in the possession of, or owned by, a member of the college.
  • Unauthorized entry into or unauthorized use, or misuse of college property.
  • The use, possession or sale of illegal drugs in college premises.
  • Possession or use of arms or explosive in college property or at college function.
  • Abusive behaviour towards a member of the college community.
  • Violating any order of the Principal.

Student Identity Card
Each full time student will be issued with an identity card. This card should be presented on demand while entering college premises or using cab facilities. Loss of identity card must be reported immediately and a copy availed at a cost of Rs. 100.00.

Uniform
CAB uniform is made of white shirt, gray trousers, a blue blazer coat and a tie with college insignia and black leather shoes. Students are required to wear the uniform at all times at College.

Absenteeism
Students who are absent from the classes are required to produce letters from parent or guardian. Late attendance will be tantamount to absenteeism. Habitual late attendance will call for an explanation from the parent/guardian or withdrawal of the student from the Institution.
